It takes only a few ounces of water contacting the sensor to activate the device. The sensor must be properly placed in an advantageous location in order to detect leaks and puddling at the earliest possible stages of a leak event. Please refer to the limitations of the system and the Owner/Installation manual for sensor placement instructions and suggestions.
